I bought the reader primarily for the ability to borrow e-books from libraries (Palmbooks, Bookport, Libby...) and it serves this purpose well, so far I've tried Palmbooks and it works well. The display is the same one used by Kindle readers (Carta 1300), so it offers a similar reading experience, but with the versatility of the Android operating system. The price for that is more frequent charging, but I'm used to that by now. Mobile phone, tablet, watch..., I carry a power bank with me when I travel and I don't care at home.

Compared to Kindle readers, Android readers have significantly higher power consumption. The versatility in use is thus redeemed by the need for recharging. Not as often as a mobile phone, but certainly much more often than a traditional reader. The reader is very light, it could easily have a larger battery
Compared to single-purpose readers, this reader needs a lot more setup at the beginning because there are more parameters. It's not a disadvantage and you only need to do it once, but it's something to be reckoned with.
In Czech shops, more or less only the original case is sold as an accessory, which is nice and elegant, but it is magnetic and quite expensive. If you want to have the reader in a more robust package (the magnet doesn't hold the reader very tightly) and for less money, I recommend looking at foreign e-shops.
Because of the buttons on the side and the 7" display, the reader is slightly wider, so it's not suitable for carrying in a pants pocket, where readers without buttons and 6" displays fit.
