I wanted to buy this laptop for development work while travelling. The size suits me perfectly, the 10-inch display fits everything I need, and it's lightweight at the same time. I'm good at typing on the keyboard, too. I watched the video reviews on Youtube (e.g. MobileTechReview) and they all said that the battery lasts about 6h under normal usage (video, text editing, some browser). For me, it meant that I would have to buy a powerpack to go with it. The laptop has a 10000mAh battery, so I wanted 20000mAh to charge my phone once and charge the laptop once. The combination of laptop endurance (6h) + one charge from the power bank (6h) would be enough for me. The power bank compatible with the laptop weighs at least 380g, so I feel that 300g from such a power bank is the extra time on the laptop. In order to be able to work with the laptop, one needs a power bank, and then the laptop weighs 1.07kg. This is what I went with and I was okay with it. But it is not true that the laptop lasts 6 hours of normal work. Laptop lasts about 2.5h of normal work. If you are very careful and keep the display brightness down, you might, but really might, get to 4h. So to be able to work with a laptop all day, you need to have a power bank that weighs half a kilo and has at least 25000 mAh. Suddenly we're talking about a 10 inch laptop that weighs 1.3kg. This is utter nonsense. Oh, and watch out for another cool thing. The laptop supports only two voltages. Namely 15V under 3A current or 20V under 2.25A current. So you can't even use a normal powerbank, you have to have a powerbank that can handle 45W. So if you accidentally forget somewhere a transformer that can 45W output, so do not count on that you would charge the laptop with a mobile phone charger. Which is possible on Macbook PRO 14. The laptop is absolutely brilliant apart from the battery. It's great to work on, the keyboard has a good "feel" and you get used to the combination of touchscreen and super keyboard very quickly. But it's useless to you, because you can't realistically take the laptop anywhere. I don't know why they put such a high resolution on a 10 inch display. Only it sucks the battery. When the one-netbook solves this problem with the battery and lasts consistently at least 6h of continuous operation, I will preorder the new version.
