I'm not a gamer and I bought this mainly for writing purposes. I love the feel and sound of the keyboard and my colleagues don't mind it at all, but there is always the option to replace the switches with more silent ones. The web app that controls the keyboard configuration worked fine with Linux after adding some udev rules. Overall I'm very happy with the keyboard look and feel and it is a joy to type with. Also the V3 form factor is ideal for me.
