If you don't have the docking station handy you have no way of knowing what mode you are shooting in (I preferred not to take it on the boat). The size of the camera is really great and you can have a lot of fun with it. Gradually, I got tired of experimenting and when I wanted quality video, I mostly reached for the GoPro10. I was also annoyed that the camera sometimes shot video flipped 90°. I usually have it on my head and it happened even when I tried to turn it on with my eyes on the horizon (GoPro doesn't do that for me). The orientation can be locked, but then one must not forget it. I ended up returning the Insta360 mainly because of the video quality - it's not downright bad, and if I didn't have a comparison to the GoPro, I'd probably keep it. I would recommend it if you want to make interesting videos for social media and if size is important to you (the GoPro is huge compared to it). On a smaller screen, the video quality is good.

When the camera runs out of power, you have to shoot with the docking station or wait - the battery can't be replaced
SW can't erase the selfie-stick, like on the "Insta360 One X"
Horizon lock (keeps it horizontal regardless of camera rotation) unfortunately only in Freeframe mode = lower resolution, must be adjusted in their SW
White colour = easy to get dirty and unnecessarily eye-catching
