I had an Insta360 One R before. Compared to that, a huge shift. More or less nothing can be faulted. Photos comparable to a regular cell phone. The 4K /60 fps video looks really cool. The stabilization is incredible, yet it doesn't feel unnatural. Compared to the One R, reliability is greatly improved, including when used with the remote (I use some alternative Chinese). The camera subjectively heats up about the same as the One R, so we'll see how it does in the summer (the One R could easily be "baked").

In Quik (GoPro) you only have three options for audio, either full music, or music with audio in a preset ratio, or just the audio from the video. With Insta, you can precisely adjust the volume of both video and music audio, with a normal slider from 0 to 100%. And so it is in everything. For me, the Ace Pro 2 beats the GoPro head to head. If I could or had the desire to learn, say, DaVinci Resolve, I would have stayed with GoPro, but the tragic GoPro software forced me to switch and I did the right thing.
