This is the only decent deal on not buying overpriced with low end hw specs. The biggest minus is the power consumption, so it's not for some small cabinets - nothing below middletower if you don't want to have a constantly humming device with the need for headphones.
pleasantly surprised it's tuned and compared to the first versions and less heating with a smaller cooler, after years of fine-tuned production. I used to have a 3080 10 GB with a bigger heatsink and it was brutally hot.

It may not be the top edition but Inno have found a way to balance performance with reasonable features even with such consumption. RT compatibility with mods, competition has interesting hw but sw compatibility is lousy. You won't be able to play Quake II or Portal RTX anywhere else, and more will follow thanks to the NV Remix project.
be careful in combination with a powerful Intel cpu i.e. i7/9 Alder/Raptor for power supplies, these components, i.e. this card and such a processor are able to put in the knees even a quality 700W power supply if the cpu setting is not limited in amperage, it has worked well for me not to leave it on automatic what there is 510 Ah and the power supply will react by protection, i.e. shutting down but manually set to 280Ah when it limits the meaningless peaks of consumption. Interestingly, this mostly affects games with DX11 which has harsh CPU requirements, this doesn't happen with games running on Vulkan.
I don't know if it's a minus, but the card is in a plain black box so who wants a nice one for the display case/shelf is out of luck.
it doesn't have RGB LEDs so it won't do much for glass enclosures, but that's a matter of taste.
