Only one of the three PC/laptops I have at home works with the box without problems. For the other two, only the first connection works. After disconnecting the cable, the box never reconnects, not even after restarting the PC, and not even after turning off the box with the rocker switch. It is necessary to completely disconnect the box from the power supply, and then the *one* connection works again. Interestingly, this problem only exists with the double-sided USB-C cable (multiple units tested, it's not a faulty cable). When I use the USB-C -> USB-A cable, the box works seamlessly everywhere. So it would be suggested that I just use a cable with a USB-A connector. But here comes the second problem. The USB-C connector in the box is too recessed. If you stick a standard cable you have at home into it (again, tested several), the cable doesn't really stick. Just give it a little nudge and it falls out (and I don't even want to think about whether it reliably transmits data, even if it's "still there"). The joke is that the cable supplied by the manufacturer has a few millimeters longer end so that it can be fully inserted. Which is an egregious mischief, because it prevents you from using your own cable (either with a different end, or a longer one, or because your original one broke).
