The quality of the photos on photo paper is simply poor. Especially the colours. My 5 year old Maxify MB5450 printer prints photos much better. Resp. every previous ink printer printed photos better. It just makes dark spots under people's eyes, and all sorts of similar nastiness.
Inkjet printers have always had one advantage and that is solid photo printing (even 10 years ago, perhaps every inkjet printer could print great on photo paper). Yes, I buy this printer like most people because of printing a large number of documents, but if I pay a considerable amount of money for it, I want to print a photo here and there and it should be able to do it qualitatively!: )
I returned it and bought a Canon Maxify GX4040 which doesn't have an all-black design but otherwise has all the advantages of this one + prints photos great. So I recommend the Maxify line.
