For me satisfaction, I used on Mini-ITX board ASUS ROG STRIX B860-I GAMING WIFI. Here I only had the option to rotate to 2 orientations (horizontal rib position), vertically it is not possible due to the massive VRM heatsinks). I have tested the usability on the Mini-ITX board MSI MEG z490i UNIFY and there it is possible to place the cooler in all directions. After trying it out, I am completely satisfied (just to clarify that I did not use the supplied paste, but the proven MX-4). Compared to the Noctua NH-L9x65 cooler, the temperatures dropped by about 8°C, which is especially noticeable when gaming, where I move around 60-65°C with Intel Ultra 5 235 processor (PL1 limit lowered to 60W) + removed case sides. I was also surprised by the fan, for a slim version it has a decent thrust thanks to the larger blade tilt and is relatively quiet. The only thing I would improve is the height - if the heatsink was only 5mm taller, it would be reliably mounted in all positions (assuming the standard height of the RAM module in case of rotating the longer side above the memory). The glowing center of the fan is not disturbing, maybe it's unnecessary, but it's definitely not offensive. The only thing I would criticise is the style of base attachment - spacers are screwed onto the threads through the plate, with an additional thread for attaching the top of the beam. There are plastic washers at the bottom, but tightening is not a great way with a board where unfortunately there are PCB joints in close proximity to the mounting holes that extend below the columns. The mounting for AMD has a rubber bottom part and is designed differently than Intel. Fortunately, the height is the same as a better mounting solution from another manufacturer, where the post is not threaded, but the beam is tightened with a nut on a fixed plastic spacer. So I used a different mount for LGA1851 (it is compatible with LGA1700).
