I purchased in the fall of 2023 and was annoyed with myself for not waiting a while for the 3v3SE model, however in retrospect I am glad to have it home. I bought the newer model in the spring of 2024 at a price of about 3 500 CZK and I can therefore bring a comparison. The Ender 3v2 is amazing with its all-metal solid construction and overall sturdier feel compared to the 3v3SE, it comes with a glass backing and manual leveling but despite this fact it is very easy and simple to set up even in the hands of a beginner and the prints are really very high quality and beautiful. The glass backing offers a high temperature range and, for tempered glass, has good adhesion. The much-reviled absence of a second Z axis is no obstacle for the ordinary non-commercial user. Compared to the newer version, however, it has a number of advantages, despite the slower print speed and the lack of auto-leveling, it has a Micro SD card slot, while the newer one is only for standard SD, the whole frame is really made of aluminum profiles, while the younger competition has a top connector made of plain plastic. Even though the newer of the pair of printers evaluated has two Z-axes, they both run on a single stepper motor connected by a belt so it can hold the extruder but still "tilt". In short, I would buy the ender 3v2 with the understanding that to be perfect and to compare it with the industry leader in the form of the PROSHA mk3, you need to buy a second axis with a stepper motor, CR touch sensor, magnetic pad and then I would not be afraid to compare it with the PROSHA. In contrast, there is the ender 3v3SE with a comparable price, but for more "pro" users a bit of a step up and a simpler design, but with plug and play parameters for the lay user. In short, the first printer that comes to me, I'll build it, buy filament and print anything from PLA I would definitely take v3SE, with the understanding that I won't upgrade or change anything on it. If I move on and want a more modifiable version for a few bucks, I'll take the 3v2 with all my might and scrap the mods; )

The assembly instructions are useless, completely incomprehensible and without Czech. Fortunately, there are videos on how to build it on YouTube
Although the principle and construction is simple in the end, it took me three hours to assemble and understand it.
Plastic extruder
The PTFE filament tube is badly inserted, it is on the edge of the cooler, so the melted filament hardens in the cooler after printing, so it doesn't print. But it's not hard to fix, just heat up the nozzle, wait a while and poke it through with a cleaning needle
Bad springs - need to adjust the height of the pad before each print
Glass washer a bit useless
I've had her at home for 11 days and today she started to, "goof off". I have printed as usual, I have printed and turned off the printer, but the display still flashes with the power on, after turning on the part of the user interface is missing, I disconnected it and still the problem persists, despite disconnecting the screen flashes, apparently the fault of the capacitors, I will leave it disconnected for some time and add information whether the problem is solved or not.
