I have owned a Braun 7 for many years, the old version, and in terms of materials and workmanship, this amazing 9 PRO+ is not even close. My 7 has a beautiful black "piano" paint job, everything is 100% polish, the materials are solid and high quality to the first touch. The 9 PRO+ looks like a cheap bakelite fake from Ali, the head tilts with difficulty and resistance and the individual parts of the blade obviously grind when inserted. I guess it's okay, but for such an expensive "out of the box" machine, it's brutal. And those dodgy promotions, it's unavailable on Alza for the price of Black Friday every now and then, when I tried to get Cash Back I was told that the limits were exhausted. The only plus is that somehow at least he shaves, time will tell. I'm just hoping that if I find I can't live with it, Braun's 90 day money back promotion won't be the same hype as Cash Back.
