After 20 years, the original Bosch robot is gone. We bought the same cheaper one 2 months ago as a replacement and it went away after 2 months. This is the second purchase in 2 months. Differences: Unlike previous models, it has neither a cable holder nor a cable reel = it gets in the way during daily use. It has plastic casings, so it's hard to say what the lifespan will be, but it does have a positive effect on noise = it's quieter (when you whip foam for a few hours, you can tell). Not compatible accessories with previous models = especially stainless steel bowls are useless, which is a big flaw. Saved on the "range" = previously the motor was turned and stopped exactly in position before stopping, so that it would put the least possible load on the bearings in the parking position and at the same time could be easily disassembled = this is missing and an inexperienced housekeeper will have trouble disassembling the robot without damage. At the same time, the internal design is different with a different smoothing, so the metal whisk you whip or hook gets very hot. So much so, that on the one hand they damage the dough or the whipped material (the ice cream base heats up considerably instead of cooling) and on the other hand, when you take out the whisk you normally get burnt "-( In the last 2 months, 2 robots from Bosch. So this model is noticeably quieter than the original. After 3 attempts of use you know it goes back and a waste of money for the 60 day return guarantee.
