I'm comparing to hardware in the same price range, so the cheapest you can get. When I took the reader out, it was nice to touch, nothing squeaks anywhere and it has that rubberized back, feels good to hold, not cold and looks pretty cool. But you can't even go wrong with this. So I take the processing to 9/10, I have nothing to complain about, but it could always be better. The display looks to me (I've had other readers in my life) quite normal, i.e., it doesn't look cheap, the backlight is even and the same as competitors in the same category. The graphics are more detailed, with HD resolution. You can even adjust the "temperature" of the backlight, not just the brightness. So I'd see it as a 9/10 here too. Connectivity is the least it can have, MicroUSB, you plug it in, it jumps into PC mode and pops up as a drive. It's awfully slow, but it's good enough for books. I don't see any reason to solve anything else. However USB-C would be great, the speed doesn't push me. It can't do graphics or video. So 5/10. It's good, but USB-C would be better and it doesn't have wifi. Probably the worst thing there is. is software. I switched it to ENG, because the English uses a really weird font, I don't mind, you need a very basic to use it. anyone can do it. Then the font looks good, sharp and fits everywhere. However, the control is weird, it's not the fastest and I don't think it will have any updates etc. They just uploaded the latest in production and sent it out into the world. Again. I don't mind, I expect on, off, backlighting so it remembers where I stopped reading, could read multiple books at once. it's kind of classic. It's got all this. For my part, I see no reason to take something more expensive, even though Amazon's Kindle is just as expensive (the one with the advertising). I'd better save even that kilo, because I don't see any use in it at the moment. I have a complaint from Alza, so I don't deal with it. For me, it's the cheapest device there is, and it's perfectly suitable for reading books. I don't understand other readers that have a web browser. or, like, what's the point of having a PlayStation-powered phone next to me. I want to read a book. I would really only address the basic controls and backlighting for the eyes.
