Currently the best from ASUS for AM5. Compared to the X670E Hero very noticeable improvements in memory. Now it is stable even at 8000 MT/s. (not that the Ryzens would benefit from it). But you can see that the PCB design is much better. There is no point in writing about VRM, it can power the shuttle. On the positive side, it doesn't whine, it doesn't fizz. Compared to the X670E, on the other hand, I evaluate negatively the distribution (sharing) of PCIe lines. The previous version was limited to 1x PCIe x16 or 2x PCIe x8. Otherwise, however, it was possible to fit M.2 slots at will. With the current X870E, the lines between the second and third M.2 slots are shared with the top PCIe as well, so if you want x16 graphics, you must not "touch" these M.2 slots. Mini SAS is a nice thing, you can fit any other peripheral into its 4 lines. 2x internal USB-C 3.2 Gen2 x2 is a nice thing for a box like the ASUS Hyperion.
