It can be OK when powering a large load, e.g. desktop PC / NAS etc. But that wasn't my use-case. When powering a small power load (e.g. wifi router, 20W) it lasts only 1.5 hours, whereas the paper-weaker CyberPower VP1200ELCD-FR lasts about 4 hours. The beeping cannot be turned off and shows nothing.

USB data link, recognizes normal OS and shows % charge
Configuration software for Windows only (it was not possible to use VirtualBox from OSX or Wine under Linux)
When dropped, it beeps 4 times every 30 seconds, impossible to turn off the beeping
It has no indicators, only a power button (no display, no charge indicator, nothing)

After connecting via USB cable, it communicates with Synology DS118 NAS perfectly fine, you can set the safe shutdown of the NAS before the UPS runs out.
Only the French manual was included, which resulted in one of my unnecessary claims of a "non-functioning" UPS. The other was also "non-functional" until I found out that the connector on the back, marked Battery connector is not for the external battery, but that it is a battery disconnector for transport. It needs to be slid out and tucked into the socket underneath.
It is possible to download the Czech manual from the manufacturer, but it is for many types and some descriptions are not functional for this type, like dimming the LED strip light.
As others have written, there is quite a bit of "electronic" smell after commissioning - it will probably disappear with heat over time.
