It works fine, but the next time I look for a new backup power supply, it probably won't be APC, especially if it should also heat like this and without the ability to deactivate the audible alarm. On older models, it could be switched off at the back. Why the whole front has to glow green (so strongly that it illuminates the whole room) I really have no idea. The indicator light in the button is sufficient.

APC is an established company, UPS communicates, basically fulfills its finkction.
Of the three UPSes I bought, one of them has a failing battery after less than a year and if the power goes out, everything shuts down in about 2 minutes. Load 10% (about 8W gateway, router, switch). The other two UPS (so far) work without any problems. Alza should really pay attention to battery suppliers!

The UPS was delivered to me a day later than promised and therefore during a (planned) power outage. I don't know how much it was charged from the factory, I plugged in a modem + router and it managed to power for 2 hours (and I worked /home office/ on my laptop from my own flashlight), for me super. Others mention the smell, I didn't notice. It's a bit grumpy for that (the transformer? ), nothing terrible, but you can hear it in the silence. Not recommended for the bedroom/living room. I haven't gotten to the configuration software from the laptop yet to see what can be set there, I'm only reading the status information to Home Assistant via the NUT protocol. When the power goes out, it beeps 4 times every 30 sec, which can be cancelled by holding the power button for 1s, but the next time it beeps again. Hopefully it can be adjusted in the configuration.
