Upon delivery, I was first struck by the size of the box, I was expecting bigger. After unpacking, I was no longer surprised, but shocked by the size of this docking station, which is slightly larger than the lighter. I don't take it as a negative though, the less space it takes up the better, anyway it's unusual for me. Despite its size, it handles everything I expected from it and that is mainly the expansion of a second monitor, since I have only one HDMI interface in my laptop. The docking station itself also has only one HDMI, so one monitor is plugged into it and the other into the laptop. I was a little worried about how such a tiny device would handle higher frequencies - I have a 120 MHz monitor (Full HD), but it doesn't make it a problem. I would expect 4K to not be able to handle it anymore, but I haven't tested it. I missed this information in the product description, it should be added, because if someone buys a similar device, this is usually the most important parameter. After plugging in the power cord from the laptop, my computer reported that the supplied voltage was lower, but still the battery recharged normally in my opinion. The lower voltage is not surprising, the power supply is only rated for the notebook, but some of the power is taken by the docking station itself and logically sends a little less to the computer, anyway it is not a problem and if it was, the power supply can be replaced with a more powerful one. The only negative is that the USB-C cable is hard and relatively short (about 20 cm). This limits the variability of station placement.
