VESA mounting
The side grips (which are adjustable) hold the laptop firmly in place.
The side mounts are adjustable, which is a shame as they don't go any lower. The laptop is pushed up a bit.

Paired with the monitor stand, it does what it's supposed to.
The locking catches are quite tricky to handle, I'm concerned about their durability.

does what it's supposed to - holds the laptop in Vesa's shoulder
16" laptop weighing 2.6 kg holds up with ease
price - bearable
small holes on the sides - I don't have usb connectors on both sides in the axis - the laptop is shifted up a bit, but it holds firmly in any position

VESA

side paws can be moved as required
the side paws have a relatively strong spring so you need 3 hands to insert/remove the NB
it's more like once the NB is in there, don't touch it again
