I do not agree with the negative reviews of this and other selective coffees under the brand AlzaCafe. it is a solid selection and when they are just alzadny, so also at a good price. This variety has a strong aromatic character and a weaker body, which the Funky natural method highlights. This includes the specific slow drying of the grains in the cherry, which allows more sugars to reach the surface of the grains. Each cherry and each bean is a little different, and so the level of sugars on the surface of the beans varies, which contributes to the different colour of the beans during roasting and gives the coffee its specific flavour. The overall roast level is between filter and espresso, so a finer grind than usual is needed for espresso and a lighter coffee with more fruity notes and a sweet caramel aftertaste is to be expected.
