Surprisingly, despite the presence of the rubber, it sometimes leaks around the edges, needs a lot of tightening, probably leaks between the metal strainer and the aeropress.
Fulfils the purpose
Required for metal strainer
Sometimes the gasket leaks a little

The first use was a disaster, I ground the coffee coarsely like on a classic aeropress and pushed a little harder (after all, a press, right? ), the filter paper in the middle above the "valve" didn't last, it burst and an explosion followed, after which the whole kitchen was covered in soot: D I ground it too finely for the second use, I had to push it with all my weight and although the result tasted like espresso, there was no trace of foam. It takes a lot of practice and most importantly, every specialty coffee package is different. I recommend the standard 18g per 60ml of water. If you want a rich presso foam like in the commercials, use darker roast coffee and almost boiling water. It needs to be presso-ground, but not a complete dust, otherwise there will be nothing from the crème, and then it depends on the procedure: the most successful for me is to pour all the coffee, pour an even amount of water (thanks to the silicone valve nothing leaks, you can have it on the table outside the container), stir for 20 seconds with something thin, ideally a glass rod, so that it foams at the top, then cover the tube from the top with a plunger and let it extract for at least a minute, and finally press the plunger directly and the cup. If you hit the thickness of the grind, you will be able/need to push harder than when using a classic cap, but at the same time you will push through it fairly quickly. The crema is not as stable as from a professional coffee machine, but taste-wise this method wins for me even over the press.
the "inverted method" can be prepared without having to turn the aeropress upside down
With a little feeling and practice it works as it should
really great stuff, I'm postponing the original cap indefinitely
on my older AeroPress it fits just-so-so, it's so tight I can't get it on without a wipe
without a more detailed study of video instructions from experts and enthusiasts, I would not have done anything similar to the crème press (the description in the instructions was not enough)
I don't see any advantages over the Fellow Prismo, they cost practically the same and Fellow has the original metal filter in that price too

I can not praise it, I was skeptical about the price at which the product is sold, but in the end I can only recommend it!
Safe handling unlike the inverted method
It even makes foam
Easy to use and easy to clean

Alza obviously offers two versions. With sealing and without sealing, but you will know what it will be when it arrives. It arrived without a gasket, so it leaks around.

Let' s prepare a pseudo-espresso
It is not necessary to use the inverted method (it does not flow)
It fits both the classic Aeropress and the Go
maybe it' s just that with Go the box with filters won' t fit under the red " cap".
