I purchased as a replacement my 10 year old Full HD LG and the difference is of course huge. I have the TV in a bright living room where the sun often shines, and unlike the old TV, I can see the program and not myself on this one. Sports in AI mode looks great, of course you have to turn on Film-maker mode for movies, otherwise older movies look like Turkish soap operas. It's probably fine for games too, I haven't tried it out properly yet. The 50 inch version has "only" 40W speakers, but for normal use it is quite enough. If you want to immerse yourself in a movie, of course you need a soundbar/amplifier and speakers. 4K is great, but so far there isn't much content in 4K in real terms-on streaming services you usually have to pay extra for 4K content (Netflix, HBO) and even then a lot of movies aren't available in 4K. Overall, I'd put it down to the fact that unless you're a film/tech enthusiast who explores every shade of colour, then this telly will definitely make you happy in everyday use and you probably won't even use it to its full potential. Plus, it's nice to look at even when it's turned off because it's a nice piece of electronics. For me, the best feature is probably the anti-glare treatment, which is definitely appreciated by anyone who watches TV in the daytime, for example, sports.
Black is surprisingly black-if the screen is completely black in a movie, it looks like the TV is off.
The anti-reflective layer seems to do what it's supposed to do-the TV doesn't shine.
I miss some apps on TV, like F1TV-if you have an F1TV subscription, you can't watch the formula on TV.
