Awesome Ultra wide monitor

HDR! I've never seen such perfect HDR on any monitor. For example, when you look into the sun in the game, the brightness is so intense that your eyes hurt without exaggeration. Flawless colours. The difference from other HDR monitors is marked. When I first saw HDR on this monitor, I had a similar feeling to when I switched from an SDR monitor to an HDR monitor. Such a difference it makes

No annoying pixel refreshing unlike OLED

Auto HDR doesn't always work as it should, it's better to turn it off and use native HDR in games (nowadays games without HDR are minimal so it doesn't matter so much but for example with KCD2 which doesn't support HDR, when auto HDR is enabled the scenes get lighter and darker and it doesn't look good).

34" is a very good replacement for 2x24". Docking the notebook is excellent, switching inputs is easy, but the constant resetting of internal USB is unusable (fortunately it is possible to remove the USB shutdown in the menu when the monitor is put to sleep). Unusable for me due to poorly implemented USB, but returned without problems.

All in all I am happy with the monitor, I use it for gaming, internet browsing, social networking, watching YouTube and PC work and in all cases I am satisfied. If you focus on individual uses, you can certainly find better monitors, but as a generalist, it's perfect for everything. It has beautiful colours, sharp images, perfect and strong HDR.

I've been choosing for a long time because I can't OLED because of the x hours of work, and therefore static content, per day, but this monitor has absolutely everything, plus a great KVMko function where you charge connected devices up to 90W. After the unfortunate breakage of my 6 year old LG 34GK950F, I started looking for an adequate replacement. I considered OLED monitors, but was ultimately put off by their low luminance and the risk of image burn-in. After careful consideration, I came across this model from TCL. Even though it is a new product, for which I haven't found many reviews, I decided to take a risk - and I certainly don't regret it. I rarely used HDR on my old LG, as it usually degraded the image. But with this TCL, it's a different story. Games like Cyberpunk 2077 in HDR1400 look absolutely fantastic - it made me want to play the game all over again! In terms of colour, I wasn't too impressed with the monitor's basic settings at first - the image was too blue and the colours didn't look natural overall. After some tuning and calibration, however, the situation has improved considerably, and now I am extremely satisfied with the colour quality and colour space coverage. If you're looking for a widescreen monitor that's great for gaming and work, look no further - this TCL model is the right choice.

Really cool HDR - in scenes with strong lighting (e.g. the sun in the game) makes me want to put on my sunglasses. 😄

I was buying the monitor as a replacement for my 7 year old Samsung in the same diagonal which cost similar money at the time however still with the old EDGE backlight technology, only when one puts the two monitors side by side does one realise how little or big the difference there is, colour rendering, backlighting, panel uniformity and all around, I was thinking of an IPS panel however in 1500R curves are not made, poor contrast and low maximum brightness, Oled would be a great choice but who wants to do a pixel refresh every x hours and in a brightened room (my case) you won't get far with max brightness, I was looking for an all round monitor for work and play and I think I found it, it's not a monitor primarily designed for gaming or pro video editing or pro graphics work however as a whole it handles both well enough, it's not flawless or cheap on the other hand with regards to versatility I think it's one of the best 34" monitors on the market

I bought the monitor as a replacement for an older "working" IPS and to complement the OLED for games with static elements where I am concerned about possible burn-in. I thought that OLED monitor is the best thing you can have. It's not. Currently, oled monitors still offer a maximum brightness of around 250 nits, which is simply low. Plus ABL and annoying pixel refresh. This TCL monitor offers a truly great brightness and HDR experience. And unlike Oled, it has better readable text and no threat of Burn in.

For playing games or watching movies, it' s a blast! The color vibrancy is great. I haven' t tried the crosshair setup yet, but it might be a nice upgrade for some games
