I figured at that price, there's nothing to talk about: 1440p for gaming will be enough, and it will still be a huge jump against fullhd, add 180hz and especially Ambiglow, which I know from philips tv and it's a total blast. Unfortunately not at all - the resolution on the 27 monitor felt like full HD on the 24, no big difference and 4k doesn't even come close. The colours and response are fine, the curved panel takes some getting used to, but it's possible and for games it can be a plus, however, at this diagonal I think flat is still preferable, unless you're looking at it from 15 cm. The biggest disappointment though was Ambiglow, just getting it going was hell. Firstly, right after starting it froze and did not reflect the image changes and I had to pull the monitor out of the socket (who knows philips tv so knows what I'm talking about; -) ) and even after I managed to get it running it doesn't really get along with VRR and adaptive sync. I mean, you might only be able to run it at 60hz, which means depriving yourself of one of the basic features of the monitor, but even then it's practically unusable, because ambiglow constantly flashes red for fast scene changes, not only in games where it's really annoying, but also in movies. which means after two hours, you'd better turn it off. I'd rather swap my non-functioning ambiglow for a 4k image. damage
