

The PENTAX 17 features a newly developed 25mm f/3.5 fixed focal length lens, equivalent to a 37mm lens in 35mm format. Fits perfectly in a half-size format. Complemented with a High Definition, multi-layer coating, ensuring optimized clarity and sharpness for half-size images.

Capture close-ups and long distance shots with the PENTAX 17. It offers a zone focusing system that is divided into 6 focusing zones. These are marked with signs for each zone. This makes it very easy to set the camera's focus by selecting the mark that corresponds to the distance of the subject on the zone focus ring. In the macro zone, you can take detailed photos from a distance of 25 cm.

The PENTAX 17 Dark Silver's optical viewfinder is equipped with a superb Albada frame viewfinder. It also includes a compensation frame for the field of view in close-up shots, making it perfectly easy to compose close-up shots. Directly through the viewfinder you can easily check the zone markers. The PENTAX 17 features 3 strap mounts that allow the camera to be hung horizontally and vertically. It is also compatible with the optional CS-205 cable switch for use in long exposure Bulb mode photography.


The PENTAX 17 Dark Silver film camera offers 7 shooting modes. Automatically adjusts exposure settings according to the illumination data collected by the built-in metering sensor. In Full Auto mode, the camera controls all exposure settings. There are 6 other modes available, such as Slow-speed sync ideal for shooting in twilight or Bulb mode for night scenes and fireworks. Use the independent rotary dial to change the exposure level for different types of subjects and to express your specific creative shots. With the PENTAX 17, you can use films with a variety of ISO sensitivities, and that's 50, 100, 125, 160, 200, 400, 800, 1600 a 3200.
