Power system and operational stability
The board uses an advanced 10+2+1 Duet Rail Power system with P-PAK components, ensuring a stable power supply even under heavy load across all processor cores. Dual eight-pin CPU power connectors, combined with Core Boost technology, allow you to fully utilise the performance of AMD Ryzen™ 9000 series processors. The six-layer PCB with 2oz thickened copper optimises signal transfer and enhances reliability at high frequencies. Protective features include Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) against overvoltage and Overcurrent Protection (OCP) for USB ports, memory slots, and the CPU. Solid pin connectors ensure low impedance and high durability for current transfer.
Memory support and latency optimisation
The motherboard supports DDR5 memory with frequencies exceeding 8200MHz when overclocked and uses an SMT welding process and Memory Boost technology to ensure maximum performance. The High-Efficiency Mode Plus feature offers four sets of RAM timings to optimise the configuration based on memory module quality. The Latency Killer feature, available in the BIOS, reduces memory latency by up to 12% at high frequencies and is compatible with Memory Try It!, EXPO, A-XMP, and High-Efficiency Mode, enabling higher throughput and faster system response in demanding gaming scenarios.
