Easy installation in a standard electrical box
Installation of the Meross MSS815MA is quick and can be done directly behind the existing switch in a standard 60 mm diameter installation box. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the module fits comfortably into shallower boxes with a depth of approximately 35 mm. For proper operation, it is necessary that a neutral wire is also supplied in the box, without which the device cannot be connected.
Smart Switch requires Matter hub and stable Wi-Fi
To fully utilize the capabilities of the Meross Smart Wi-Fi In-Wall Switch you must connect the switch to a Matter hub. The Meross switch is designed to work with leading smart home platforms Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home. For integration into the Apple system, you can use e.g. HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple TV 4K. In an Amazon Alexa environment, it works great with Echo Dot (4. -5. Gen. ), Echo Show and other compatible devices. For Google platform users, Nest Hub, Nest Audio or Google Home are ideal. It is also necessary to have a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and a smartphone with at least iOS 16.1 or Android 8.1.
