Extending and using the selfie stick
Use the 1/4" thread to attach a camera or accessory, while the adjustable base ensures a stable mount and proper balance for the entire setup. Before use, remove the protective cover or Mini Remote, then extend the selfie stick to the desired length for your shot. The storage cover can hold up to two microSD cards; take extra care when inserting and removing them to avoid damage. Only extend the selfie stick to a suitable height to reduce the risk of it tipping over, and always fully retract it before carrying it, as strong vibrations or sudden movements can damage the device.
Opening the built-in tripod
The built-in tripod is activated by gently dropping the bottom of the selfie stick onto a flat surface from a height of approximately 10cm, which causes it to open automatically. You can then grip the device and fully unfold the tripod with light pressure before placing it on a smooth, flat surface to ensure stability. Before opening, you must remove the storage cover or Mini Remote to prevent them from falling, getting lost, or being damaged. Do not drop the device from a height greater than 10cm, use it on an uneven surface, or forcibly bend it to other angles. There is a risk of it tipping over in strong winds, so be extra cautious. When using it as a selfie stick, do not touch the bottom part to avoid accidentally opening the tripod, and align the camera's display with the direction of the remote for more precise composition.
Attaching the camera
To attach the camera, use the 1/4" thread. Align the mounting point on the bottom of the camera with the screw on top of the 2-in-1 Selfie Stick + Throwpod, then turn it clockwise to secure it firmly. The adjustable spring-loaded base lets you fine-tune the angle after mounting by turning the camera counter-clockwise. When using a 360° camera, you must maintain proper alignment between the camera and the selfie stick to achieve the "invisible" effect; this effect is not available when the tripod is extended. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 500g (17.6oz), and always ensure the device is securely fastened to prevent it from coming loose. Avoid drops and impacts, which can damage the surface or affect the function of the built-in tripod.
Collapsing and storing
First, turn the camera counter-clockwise and remove it from the 2-in-1 Selfie Stick + Throwpod, then retract the extension pole back into the handle. To collapse it, use both hands, pushing down from the top with one hand and up from the bottom with the other. Then, fully fold the built-in tripod and completely close the device. Be extra careful when folding to avoid pinching your fingers. After using it in seawater or on the beach, rinse the device with clean water, remove any salt and sand residue, and let it dry thoroughly. Do not store it with sharp objects like keys to avoid scratching the surface, and keep it away from dust and dirt. Regularly wipe the surface with a soft cloth and avoid using corrosive cleaning agents.
