The IMMAX NEO Smart occupancy sensor reliably senses motion and light. To function, it requires an Immax NEO smart gateway or any other hub or bridge on the TUYA platform that communicates using the ZigBee 3.0 standard. The sensor offers a wireless range of 30 m in line-of-sight and 10 m in built-up areas. It is fixed with 3m adhesive tape and has IP20 protection. It can detect illumination in the range of 0-10,000 lux. It is compatible with iOS systems, Android, Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri Shortcuts, Google Assistant, TUYA and Lidl. You can use the Immax NEO PRO app, which is available in Czech and 60 other languages. It can also be controlled by voice.

Tuya Smart is a universal smart home app that brings together devices from many manufacturers into one clear ecosystem. It enables convenient control, automation and connectivity with popular voice assistants across Android and iOS platforms. It is the ideal choice for both beginners and advanced users who want to be in full control of their smart home.

To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's app. For more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add a device to the application, please refer to the product manual.
Unlike PIR sensors, which only detect large changes in infrared radiation (i.e. movement of the whole body), radar sensors can also detect subtle movements such as breathing or small hand movements. Radar sensors can detect movement even through thin obstacles (e.g. thin walls, glass or plastic), which allows them to be installed behind materials where they are not visible. Unlike PIR sensors, which have a limited detection angle (dependent on line-of-sight), radar sensors can cover a wider area and detect motion even at unusual angles.

In addition to detecting classic motion (a person walking), radar sensors can also accurately detect the presence of people who move very little or not at all, which is an advantage over conventional PIR sensors. For example, if someone is sitting in a room and not making any significant movement, the radar sensor can still detect their presence through subtle movements such as breathing.

Radar sensors are generally less affected by changes in temperature or light conditions (unlike PIR sensors, which can have problems with temperature changes or exposure to strong light). They also work in more challenging environments where PIR sensors might have trouble detecting, such as in environments with high temperatures or humidity.
