Compatible with teleconverters to achieve focal lengths up to 914 mm without loss of autofocus performance

The lens is compatible with the XF1.4X TC WR and XF2X TC WR teleconverters, which enables a maximum equivalent focal length of up to 914 mm. When using the XF2X, the lens aperture is reduced by two stops and with the XF1.4X it is reduced by one stop. Even with teleconverters, phase detection focusing and continuous focusing are available without affecting focusing speed.

Fast autofocus for capturing moving subjects in challenging conditions

The XF70-300mm F4-5.6 R LM OIS WR is equipped with an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system, with an efficiency of up to 5.5EV. Excellent macro capabilities with minimum focusing distance and the option to extend with a teleconverter

With a minimum focusing distance of 83 cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3 (0.33× which is 0.5× in 35mm format), they are suitable for close-up and close-up photography, such as. flowers. The lens body has been manufactured and sealed to withstand the harshest conditions. The lens is dust and moisture resistant and can operate in temperatures as low as -10°C.
