Different types of coffee and tea require different water temperatures for preparation. The Electrolux E6K1-6SW allows you to select the appropriate temperature for the drink you're making, so you can better develop its characteristic flavour and aroma.
Turbo mode boils water in less than 1.5 minutes
When you don't want to wait long for hot water, use the Turbo mode. It can bring 200ml of water to a boil in less than 1.5 minutes.1 This means you can quickly prepare the right amount of water for coffee, black or green tea, matcha, or other favourite drinks.
Set the temperature exactly for your needs
The Electrolux E6K1-6SW kettle offers temperature control from 40 to 100°C in 5°C increments. A temperature of 40°C can be used for melting chocolate, 55–70°C for sous-vide preparation, 80°C for green tea, and 95°C for coffee. For black tea, herbal infusions, or instant meals, you can heat the water up to 100°C.
Maintains the selected temperature for up to 40 minutes
No need to reheat the water before each subsequent cup. The kettle can maintain the set temperature for up to 40 minutes and will automatically reheat the water if it drops by 4°C. This means you always have hot water ready, even when making several drinks one after another.
Removable filter makes maintenance easy
The handy removable limescale filter can be easily cleaned and helps to trap deposits, preventing them from getting into your drink. This makes regular maintenance simpler and keeps the water purer.
Practical power cord solution
The clever power cord management makes using and storing the kettle easier. The cord won't get in the way during storage or on the kitchen worktop.
