Smart watches for children serve mainly as a safety precaution - for example, allowing you to locate your child, enabling them to call selected numbers, or alerting you if the child leaves a certain area.

What can a children’s smart watch do?

  • Fitness functions (pedometer, distance walked, calories burned)

How does a children’s smart watch work?

Although normal smart watches work as a smart phone extension, smart watches for children are designed to work independently and the only one who needs a smart phone is the parent. If you have an Android or iOS phone, just download a compatible app from Google Play or AppStore and pair the devices together.

This allows the parent to locate the watch at any time, and in some models you can even eavesdrop, send messages, or view where your child has been. If you insert a SIM card, the watch works as a normal phone. The allowed phone numbers are usually set using the app.
