The slim AXAGON HUE-F7A USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) hub with a 1m long USB cable lets you easily and quickly connect up to seven USB devices to your computer at once. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard provides a transfer speed of up to 5Gb/s. The hub's metal body is made of aluminium, ensuring excellent mechanical protection. Its elegant, finely textured surface resists unwanted fingerprints. The fixed 100cm USB-A cable is ideal for use with a desktop computer. A handy feature is the separate USB-A port on the front, which is perfect for connecting larger flash drives, readers, and other USB devices. The versatility of this USB hub is enhanced by the built-in micro USB connector for additional power from standard USB chargers supplied with mobile phones. This extra power allows you to connect even more external drives to your computer or increase the number of mobile phones you can charge. It can handle the permanent connection of several external drives even without external power to the hub. When connected to an external power source, it can work with up to five external drives simultaneously. Thanks to its charging hub function, mobile devices can be charged even without being connected to a computer. An unused charger effortlessly turns this USB hub into a charging hub. Hub power mode via USB cable (bus power)
USB bus power is sufficient for connecting low-power USB devices (mouse, keyboard, card reader, flash drive, etc.) or self-powered devices (printer, scanner, 3.5" external drive) to all seven ports. In this power mode, the USB hub can also handle up to three 2.5" magnetic external drives simultaneously. It charges mobile devices (including iPad) with a current of up to 1.5A in each of the hub's ports. The total charging current (which is shared across the ports) reaches up to 3A at 5V (depending on the capabilities of the computer's USB port).
Power mode via USB + external power from a USB charger (self power)
The hub's body has an integrated micro USB connector for supplementary power. You can use any mobile device charger (not included) with a micro USB connector (recommended charger output current of min. 2A). In this power mode, the USB hub can handle up to five 2.5" magnetic external drives. However, for reliable long-term operation, we recommend connecting a maximum of three 2.5" magnetic external drives simultaneously. It charges mobile devices (including iPad) with a current of up to 1.5A in each of the hub's ports. The total charging current (which is shared across the ports) reaches up to 5A at 5V (depending on the capabilities of the external power adapter).
Standalone charging hub mode without connection to a computer (charging hub)
When the connected computer is turned off or not connected at all, the hub functions as a standalone USB charging hub when powered by a USB charger. Simply plug a standard charger with a micro USB connector into the hub (micro USB input). It charges mobile devices (including iPad) with a current of up to 1.5A in each of the hub's ports. The total charging current (which is shared across the ports) reaches up to 3A at 5V (depending on the capabilities of the external power adapter).
