Performance and connectivity
At the heart of the board is the AMD X870 chipset, which unlocks the full potential of modern components. It provides a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card. Fast data transfers and connection of external devices are handled by a pair of USB4 Type-C ports with a speed of 40Gbit/s. The board is therefore ready for demanding gaming and workstation use.
Stable power and effective cooling
A digitally controlled power delivery system ensures a stable power supply. It uses a 16+2+1 phase system with 80A Dr.MOS and an enlarged heatsink dissipates heat from key components. For active cooling, the board includes connectors for CPU and case fans, as well as for an AIO water cooler pump.
DDR5 memory and storage
Four slots support dual-channel DDR5 RAM up to a total capacity of 256GB. Overclocked memory frequencies can reach over 8000MHz. For system and data drives, the board has three M.2 slots with a PCIe Gen5x4 interface. These are complemented by four SATA III ports, which support RAID 0, 1, and 10 configurations.
Network connectivity and diagnostics
A fast and stable network connection is provided by a 2.5Gbit/s LAN port and a wireless module. This brings modern Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. For easy maintenance and troubleshooting, the board uses tools like the BIOS Flashback button for updating the firmware without a CPU installed and the ASRock Post Status Checker for quick system boot diagnostics.
