Its fully manageable switch offers a full range of 2nd layer features with increased levels of access security, traffic priority, sFlow support, and advanced IPv6. Its ease of use provides a unified ClearPass Policy Manager, Airwave Network Management, and Aruba Central cloud management to quickly set up remote branch offices with minimal IT support.

Safety and Quality of Service (QoS)
Switch HPE Aruba 2540 48G 4SFP+ supports flexible authentication methods including local MAC, 802.1X, Web and RADIUS / TACACS+, SSL for enhanced security. A file of advanced DOS protection, such as DHCP, ARP dynamic protection, and dynamic IP blocking, increases security. Tracking lists are ACL and QoS. The prioritisation of IEEE 802.1p traffic classifies real-time traffic to eight priority levels assigned to 8 queues.

The HPE Aruba 2540 48G 4SFP+ understands ClearPass Policy Manager for unified policy for the entire network for wired and wireless users. It simplifies the implementation or administration and management of login credentials for users, network access, security, QoS, and other networking rules. In addition, the Airwave Network Management provides a common platform for managing and monitoring all compatible corporate devices.
