But once it is set, it runs fine. The WAN DSL (with the DSLAM physically a block away) connection, which normally gives us the full speed of 250/25 Mbps directly on the cable, goes wirelessly ~240/25Mbps, and easily reaches the room one floor up, where it still gives ~230/25Mbps (on a PC with an 802.11ax card) - but this is the room directly above the modem. Where it permeates more walls/clutters, the speed drops. The normal speed in the building is then ~135 Mbps, but in places unfavourable for the signal it can be as low as ~30Mbps (but this is to be expected). In principle, satisfaction, for the money it is OK, and the device is relatively small, without ugly antennas.
