I’d been a loyal Apple user for a long time, but I wanted to try something different, so I went for the Xiaomi 17T Pro. I’m really surprised at just how powerful the device I’ve bought is. I haven’t found any drawbacks so far, and I’m confident I won’t find any either. And I’m a very demanding user of electronic devices; I’ve tried countless devices, and very few of them measure up to my needs and the demands of my work. I can’t recommend this device highly enough: )

A great phone at a reasonable price, with fantastic Leica cameras – especially the periscope lens. The phone feels great in the hand, has a long battery life and offers high performance. The phone’s aluminium body gives it a premium feel.

An unexpected surprise that completely blew me away
I hadn’t originally planned to buy a new phone at all, but everything changed the moment my son brought the Xiaomi 17T Pro home. All it took was borrowing it for a few minutes, holding it in my hand and having a look at it, and the decision was made straight away – I simply had to have this one too. Having used it for a while now, I have to say that my initial enthusiasm certainly hasn’t waned. A beautiful and well-made piece
The biggest surprise for me is the craftsmanship itself. For a fairly reasonable price, I’ve got my hands on a phone that feels incredibly premium and sturdy. There are no cheap compromises in the design. The design is elegant and sleek, and the phone looks and feels considerably more expensive than its actual price tag suggests. The main reasons why I’m pleased with it: A first-class look: The materials are top-quality and the phone feels truly exceptional in your hand. A seamless experience: The phone runs incredibly fast, the system is well optimised and everything works perfectly. Unbelievable value for money: You’re actually getting a flagship model for a price that won’t break the bank. Final summary
It’s one of those purchases where you find yourself wondering why you didn’t make it ages ago. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is a fantastic, beautiful and reliable phone that proves you don’t have to spend a fortune to get top-quality. I have to thank my son for the brilliant inspiration, because this is a purchase that brings me joy every day. I recommend it with all ten!

After nearly ten years, I decided to replace my old mobile – I had to, because my online banking suddenly stopped working: -D And that was exactly why I’d been putting off changing my mobile for so long – because of my online banking and all those passwords, which I obviously can’t remember. After spending the evening looking for a new mobile, I settled on the Xiaomi 17T Pro. I have to say, it’s a truly massive technological leap! You don’t really realise just how much mobile phones have evolved over that time until you actually hold a new one in your hand. The first surprise was how easily I was able to transfer all my photos, phone numbers, apps and passwords from my old phone to my new one. Camera? Well, that’s brilliant – the photos are sharp, full of detail and the colours are really true to life. In good light, they look just like they’ve come straight from a camera, but they’re just as impressive in low light too. Zoom is great too – definitely better than on my wife’s phone, which isn’t even a year old. Thanks to its fast processor, the phone is snappy; nothing lags and it responds instantly to everything. Searching the internet is now an experience in its own right when it comes to speed: ) I was also pleased with the high-quality screen and the very fast charging. The only thing I had to get used to was the phone’s heavier weight. It’s noticeably heavier than my old phone, even though they’re roughly the same size, so you really notice the difference during longer calls. Before making my final purchase, I read reviews from other users. Some people mention that the HyperOS interface comes with too many pre-installed apps (I’ll just delete the ones I don’t want), the ultra-wide-angle camera isn’t as good as the main lens (the main lens is used most often anyway) and the fingerprint reader could be faster (I can’t really judge that, as I didn’t use it on my old phone). As far as I’m concerned, however, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I know that if I were switching from a ten-year-old model, I’d be thrilled with everything, but at home I can compare it with my wife’s and children’s phones, as they change them regularly, and when even my wife admires my phone because of the camera, that really says it all. The Xiaomi 17T Pro offers a superb camera, high performance, long battery life, a beautiful display and fast charging. After ten years with my old mobile, I was worried about how I’d get used to the new one, and I was really surprised at how quickly I got used to it. Despite a few really minor flaws, I would definitely recommend this phone: )

A brilliant camera that takes great photos.
Nice design.
Performance on a par with high-end phones, but at a lower price.
Some unnecessary apps.

Xiaomi 17T Pro – I’m happy with everything so far, but it’s difficult to write a review after such a short time using it. I like the large battery capacity, the charging speed (100W wired charging and 50W wireless), the great photos and the decent zoom; the 6.83-inch display is a bit bigger, but you get used to it straight away. The phone lived up to my expectations and I would definitely recommend it.
