After 15 years of switching from iPhone and I have no regrets, I have been using for over a month now and I can't complain.
Absolutely top photos

Integration with Macbook and other Apple devices
Some may find the rattling of the optics too loud
Absence of magsafe, solves the cover

Very satisfied with the phone so far. The system is fast, it doesn't crash, the performance is more than sufficient. Well-readable display, even in the sun. Battery life is sufficient. I appreciate the fast charging. The cameras shoot very well, even in low light conditions. The minus is the cover supplied with the phone, it could be at a better level and the absence of a charger.

The most expensive phone of my life, but I don't regret a single crown invested. The transition to 17 Ultra is really noticeable, everything goes incredibly fast. The display is absolutely gorgeous, the colors are top notch and the camera? That's just carnage, those pictures look better than they do in real life. Maximum enthusiasm.

of course the camera
afraid I'll drop it and smash it 🙂

I am very happy with the Xiaomi 17 in terms of camera.
Photos have great sharpness and true-to-life colours even in low light.
The night mode pleasantly surprised me because it can pull out details I wouldn't expect in a mobile phone.
Portrait mode works accurately and separates the subject from the background well.
The shooting speed is excellent, so I don't miss important moments.
I also like the ease of use of the camera app.
Overall, I would rate the camera as one of the best in this price range.

After a year of using the Galaxy Z Fold 7, I decided to make a change and got the fresh Xiaomi 17 Ultra. While the Fold is technologically interesting, the quality of the photos and the endurance started to limit me. Switching to 17 Ultras is like going back to another league for me. The difference in photos is brutal 200Mpx main sensor with Leica optics puts Fold in your pocket at the first click. Especially night photos and zoom are a few generations away. Another huge leap is the battery. While I had to keep an eye on the Fold, the 6000mAh in the Xiaomi gives me confidence that I can get through a busy day without a charger. The display is top notch and the 90W charging is lightning fast compared to the Samsung. You won't regret it if you swap the internal flexible display for high-end hardware.
An incredible leap in photo quality compared to Foldu 7.
Massive 6800mAh battery life

Switching to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is a complete technical liberation after more than three years of waiting for meaningful innovations in the Samsung Galaxy S24, S25 and S26 models. This phone is a true and uncompromising flagship that finally delivers the supercharged hardware features that should be the absolute standard at the top end.
