I've been through quite a few mobiles and can compare this one with XM phones (13 Pro and 14 ultra), Samsung's 21U and 23U, Pixels 6Pro, 8Pro and 10Pro, and Honors 5Pro and 6Pro. I'm often out in nature, and the top speaker opening on the mobile is incredibly irritating. It's like a magnet for pine needles and other small bits of dirt, and even a 'durable' case doesn't help. It's then very difficult to get it out of that opening. It's a shame the phone no longer has a variable camera aperture; I often take photos against the light, and you could really play around with the aperture. In any case, it seems to me that Samsung and Google, for instance, paradoxically manage to squeeze more out of their tiny sensors. Google has a handy feature where a double press of the power button quickly launches the camera without needing to unlock it. Samsung, on the other hand, is better at taking landscape photos. A classic problem with XM mobiles is that they tend to oversaturate sunsets that are mainly red tones, turning them yellow and orange. However, the pro mode is far more sophisticated than on the Pixels. The battery life on a single charge and the charging speed are also good. Previously, when I set off on a trip into the countryside with my Pixel at 100%, it would be screaming that it was dead by the afternoon. I appreciate the fast charging because if I'm on a short train journey, I can top up the battery very quickly. A big difference compared to Samsung is the fact that I get a signal even in remote areas. The mobile as a whole has very solid hardware, but I'd rather have a variable aperture than AI zoom. What annoys me are the pre-installed apps that I just can't delete. The user interface and the look of the menus are the second most pleasing after Samsung. I give the mobile an overall rating of 70%.

Classic Xiaomi, top-notch hardware but rubbish software. I switched from a Samsung and I regret it. The hardware is great, the battery life too, the photos are beautiful, but the Android from Xiaomi's workshop is a disaster.
