I'm switching from the Xiaomi 13T, which for me was very successful in design. The 17 Ultra is excellent, has a quality camera and solid performance. The body is aluminum and has no texture (compared to older models or Leitzphone), so it is worse to grip without a cover. The design is very nice, but the camera is big and heavy, making it harder to hold. The fact that it has a flat back contributes to this, so it is harder to fit in the hand compared to rounded edges. But that's the only complaint. Despite the higher price, it's a very good buy for someone who doesn't like Samsung's UI and parameters and doesn't like Apple. I've been using Xiaomi phones for over 10 years and so far they haven't let me down.
