I've been transitioning from the Mi 9T Pro for years and the difference is abysmal. Xiaomi has really surprised me with how much it has advanced in terms of user experience and quality of workmanship in that time. The phone feels very secure in the hand and the system runs perfectly clean. If you're looking for a powerful machine that handles great and isn't overly huge, this is a great choice. My only regret is the lack of a completely clear display with no cutout and more detailed vibration settings, but that's something to get used to.

System fluidity. Xiaomi has done a tremendous amount of work on optimization over the years.
Shot for the front camera. Since I came from the Mi 9T Pro where the camera was slide-out, I'm still getting used to the display not being completely clear.
Limited haptics settings. The vibrations have a rather "ringing" character (like falling droplets). I miss the ability to set a deeper, duller or "buzzy" speech to my own taste.
