Working with the camera is a bit of a struggle. Unfortunately, the camera hardware itself has a fairly average dynamic range, everything is compensated by the HDR post-processing. Practically every image is heavily processed, sharpened, lightened, etc. In some cases, you get perfect results comparable to flagship phones, but in other cases, you struggle a bit with the settings, trying to change color rendering, exposure, etc., but you don' t really know much about what post-processing is going on there. In addition, you only see the result 2-3 seconds after taking the picture, so it can be quite surprising and you can' t capture the moment again. Sometimes it just doesn' t work out and it' s quite a failure. one can only hope that further updates will come that will soften the software interventions more.
Unfortunately, the physically longer focal length of the camera is missing here. The main one has about 24 mm, the wider one has about 16 mm. Cropping to 35mm is still usable, but it is already a bit obvious that the software tries to compensate for the small area of the sensor by different sharpening and the like. It' s still acceptable for a portrait, but it doesn' t work very well in compositions with a more complex whole. The crop mode at 50mm is no longer very good even for portraits.
In the camera' s night mode, the backlight is turned on by default. If you turn it off, it' s back on when you turn the camera back on - and you' re the idiot who shines on other people in action without meaning to
If you want to light up an LED for purposes other than taking pictures, then you are limited to cold white. In addition, the backlight is a bit weaker and narrower compared to other phones.
The Funtouch OS superstructure seems somewhat undeveloped. Some animations are not much, I can' t scale the text so that it looks natural in different elements of the OS, either there is too much space everywhere, or everything is too big. The default launcher cannot hide applications and their labels.
The speaker above the display has no protective grill, it' s like an elongated slot that grabs the bin from your pocket. On the other hand, at least it can be cleaned.
