Standard USB-C cables don't work with this drive, you need to get something that's designed for transferring data from it. I found the SmallRig one works well, it's aluminium and more durable than the included cable.
It runs beautifully
After about 14 days, the 'c' broke off on the included cable.

The disk needs to be initialized (GPT) in Disk Management or via diskpart, then a new partition needs to be created and formatted (NTFS). Once it has created a partition, Windows will automatically start showing it as a regular disk. From that point on, it will work on all PCs without further setup.
Works well and fast with Verbatim Vi3000 512GB
https://www.alza.cz/verbatim-vi3000-512gb-d7689351. htm
Good cooling
transfer speed of approx. 900 MB/s with the mentioned disk
Quite easy to install
tested with Verbatim Vi3000 512GB
You have to push a little harder when snapping the disc in until you're afraid you're going to break something off.
The disk needs to be initialized (GPT) for the first time in Disk Management

Very nice, it runs at average speeds than the disk can but it runs as it should the enclosure efficiently dissipates heat from the disk it works
I don't know if it's just the type or it's a general bug but when you plug in the Samsung ssad so the app doesn't recognize the drive

Poor quality socket, the disc moves in it and thus constantly disconnects

I don't understand why capacity and maximum support is not listed somewhere. The 2TB drive isn't working, I hope it's not destroyed. The fact that the capacity has not been verified is the height of irresponsibility. I'm returning it immediately.
There's no capacity listed anywhere.!
It does not support 2 TB.!
I'm coming back immediately.!
