I use it to switch between PC and laptop and it's great. The switching is purely manual, so when you turn off the currently active device, it doesn't switch to the other device that is active, but considering the speed of switching (about 3 seconds) this is a small thing. Works without problems on all systems. For the camera, microphone, keyboard and mouse, you don't even need an additional power supply, but if you connect an HDD to it, you do. I haven't tested to what extent it affects read/write speed to external storage. However, I stuck the box under my desk and thus cleaned up a lot of the cabling from my desk, and I can't imagine not having this box anymore and having to connect all the cables manually when I want to work on the other device. Fine invention, does what it is supposed to do, I recommend it.
