The TP-Link Tapo T315 only displays temperatures between 0 and 50 °C on its e-ink display. If the measured temperature is outside this range, for example negative, it will not be shown on the display, but this information is available in the Tapo app. The sensor's measuring range is from -20 to 60 °C, but the display does not show negative values

I bought the sensor because ALZA advertises Matter and Home Kit support for it. However, this is not true, as the sensor is shipped it cannot be connected to HomeKit. So it's useless to me and I'm returning it. Alza should remove the confusing Matter and HomeKit log icons from the description.
Works off-line
The way it is delivered does not support Matter.
cannot be installed in the Home Kit
Unusable without Tapo Hub

Installation is easy after the HUB has been installed. With only one TAPO 315 in operation, the purchase of a HUB is a relatively significant multi-cost. It works well and reliably.
nice design
works without a problem
easy software installation
needs a HUB for operation, i.e. additional investment

Perfect display.
Battery life.
Too bad it doesn't show the time.
It could have a (perhaps switchable) backlight.
