Suitable only for the maximum for a frameless door. Both parts of the sensor must be in the same plane. So no use for windows or patio doors. The passive part cannot be rotated, the position relative to the base is fixed - even with adhesive tape. If the passive part was a block, I would glue the base to the body of the onka and the magnet to the frame - just glue it to the other side. But this is not possible, because in the construction they probably put the design first and forgot about functionality. If it's only used in the Tapo app, it raises a constant "alarm" when opened. It can't be put to sleep for any length of time from a forced notification. Shame about the wasted potential. Even though in HA this can be fixed by automation, the lack of variability of the physical installation is still valid.

I'm returning the sensors because they cannot be deactivated remotely in the TAPO application.

A crucial feature is missing, the sensor cannot be deactivated in Tapo. You can schedule inactivity for certain days and hours, you can disable activity alerts, but you cannot manually or via automation deactivate the sensor itself.
Thus, as an alarm sensor, it is completely useless, the siren is constantly blaring when I open the apartment door. I don't understand why no one here has bothered yet?
Maybe some SW update in the future will fix it, but for now I'm giving it back.
It is not easy to assign to a narrow iron gear without hobby bastling.
