Total disaster. I wanted to replace a 7 year old router from the same company. After installation absolutely lousy coverage of the house, most peripherals had no signal at all and we are talking about a distance of about 7m through two doors! With the old one, everything ran smoothly. After asking TP-Link support, they told me that today's routers don't have nearly the same performance and that my old one has better coverage. The solution is said to be to buy a MESHe for every room. So what I could cover 7 years ago for 1500, -Kč, today I have to pay around 10-12 K and every MESH has to have its own power supply. Absolutely ridiculous are the labels and graphics on the box, when you get the impression that you are buying the absolute top and everything is SUPER and EASY. So that's how you save the planet and save energy according to the EU. It's unbelievable where development has come.
