I needed an inexpensive joystick for my left hand to complement my more expensive Star Citizen playing colleagues. The nature of spaceflight doesn't get along too well with a conventional throttle. The main advantage of the joystick is its ability to adapt to both right and left hand control. In this context, it's nice to know that the T.16k is a cheap and surprisingly high-quality joystick. Of course, the low price means that the material is entirely plastic - but at least now nothing squeaks and the joystick feels pleasantly durable. Probably the main criticism - the plastic buttons on the motherboard (not the kniplu) are just a number, and in terms of quality they look cheap.

A reasonable entry set for those interested in simulators. A great choice for transport aircraft enthusiasts, where you just need to do the first ten and last five minutes of flight, a decent choice for VFR wandering over the countryside, a weaker choice for precision control of fighters, in-flight refuelling or precision shooting from WW2 machines. The joystick has a strong spring with a noisy and hard centre, the throttle lever and the pedals jerk significantly when moved gently (after lubrication with a decent lubricant, the throttle is supposedly very good). The pedals are fairly close together and quite slippery in socks -- totally fine for an Airbus comparison on approach, not for some long term dancing. There are plenty of buttons on all elements. The joystick has poorly designed rotation sensing, and for most people it starts to get bad early -- fortunately, in a pedal set it doesn't matter. The pedals are connected through the throttle, so the joystick can be upgraded.
