The STRONG REPEATERAX1800 was purchased to boost the signal on the upstairs of a family house, where the main WiFi router is located on the ground floor. When connected, the signal status light indicates whether the device is receiving the ideal signal. I tested two options of placement - first on the floor, directly above the location of the primary WiFi router and then in the middle of the floor, when the reception of the signal from the ground floor is slightly worse, but its subsequent spread in the floor is even and ideal to all rooms (it passes through fewer walls) - option 1 won and I recommend (when dealing with a similar situation) to prefer a closer distance to the primary WiFi router, rather than trying to achieve optimal placement within the floor. I am satisfied with the facility and it met my expectations. The wiring was simple, I hesitated only between using repeater and extender mode. In my opinion, it has the best price/performance ratio in the WIFI6 category and I can definitely recommend it.
