The Watch8 Classic really impressed me when I first unboxed it. The design and workmanship are of a very high standard and I am still marvelling at them! I switched from Watch4 and the difference is noticeable. The display is absolutely great, the readability in direct sunlight is excellent compared to the Watch4. The Galaxy AI combined with the watch is a very useful feature, because now I dictate everything and don't have to use the title keyboard. Among the negatives, I would include the volume of the built-in speaker, which could have been slightly higher. I can really recommend the purchase and I am very satisfied with the watch.

Samsung forgot about women, too big a display for a woman's wrist and the strap in the package is long, the silver color looks cheap, and to sit the display wheel on a square is weird too. They are reminiscent of the first Samsung Sport model. So design is a matter of opinion and function is the main preference. I'm switching from the Watch6, which was sleek black and had a choice of 2 display sizes with a rotating lunette in the classic variant. The Watch classic 8 has a good readable display, a rotating lunette, fast response times and a few extra features. The new Antioxidant Index measurement - the back of the watch sticks to the belly of the thumb. Next is the new vascular load, this is only displayed after three measurements at night. The centre button can be programmed at will. The running assistant will measure your running and plan your workouts. The side button triggers Gemini, which I consider a big +. And even though the Gemini gets confused at times it's a great thing in a watch. With backup, you'll go 1:1 without a problem. Battery life could be adjusted by the manufacturer. The strap from previous models is not compatible, it has a different fit.

After buying this watch, I am very happy that it is so cool. They fit great on the hand, have a beautiful sturdy body.
The features are top. I can find every measurement there is. Operation is simple and very easy.
The battery is weaker, but with full measurements of all functions, I have to say that in two days I have 50% capacity. So for me, great.
I recommend

I switched over from the Galaxy Watch 6 and was a little worried about the new watch design. No need. The wristwatch looks really valuable and fits great. The scope clicks nicely, I like that it protrudes less above the display. The watch is lightning fast and handles great. Battery life is lower so far, but it's too early to judge.

After the launch of the Galaxy Watch8 Classic and the return of the rotating lunette, I was looking forward to this model and after purchasing it, I am happy with it in summary. Design-wise, they look very good - the sleek black look suits both sporty and more formal outfits. But I admit that I liked the Watch6 Classic model a bit more, it had a cleaner and sleeker design. Even so, the figure eights look great on the hand and look very high quality. With the new model, I was concerned about the comfort of wearing it, the body of the watch looks quite massive and thick. I was pleasantly surprised by the wearing comfort though. Although it is a larger model, they fit on the hand really well, they do not press anywhere and even after a long time I hardly know about them. The materials are pleasant and the watch looks premium. I like the used rubber strap with imitation leather and stitching. I like the swivel lunette the most - it responds quickly and smoothly, and makes operation intuitive and comfortable. The display is easy to read even in sunlight, it's good. However, the battery life is worse, which is a shame for such a watch. However, this is to the detriment of the wide range of features the watch offers - e.g. heart rate, stress, ECG, sleep, steps, exercise... and everything is clear and works seamlessly. I was also very pleased with the options for customising the dials - there are a large number of styles to choose from, some practical, others downright stylish. You can customize them - what they display, colors, etc. But overall I rate the watch positively - it is beautiful, comfortable, smart. As with older models, more frequent charging is required.

One of the biggest positives is the return of the swivel lunette, an iconic feature of the Classic series for many users. Operating the watch with the lunette is intuitive, fast and enjoyable, greatly improving the user experience. Added to this is a new operating system with Google Gemini integration that allows, for example, to create multi-step routines or launch applications by voice. The watch is also equipped with a new BioActive sensor that delivers advanced health functions, including measuring antioxidants in the skin. Design-wise, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic moves towards a more rugged look inspired by the Watch Ultra. However, the new square frame with a round display may be controversial for some users. We should also mention the new strap attachment system, which is innovative but incompatible with previous models, which may be uncomfortable for existing users. On the other hand, there is the battery life, which remains rather average - around two days on a single charge. Compared to the competition, it's not bad, but it's not exceptional either. Another questionable element is the silver colour option, which according to some reviews looks less premium than the black or titanium version and is easily scratched. Overall, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a very nice model that will please especially fans of classic controls and advanced features. If you don't mind the shorter battery life and new design, this is one of the best smartwatches for Android users.

I was transitioning from the first Galaxy Watch I had for five years, which had its toll on the non-functionality of some parts (for example, the heart rate sensor hasn't worked for the last year), but I held on to it because of the still-three-day battery life. I said I'd buy a new one when it had a rotating lunette and lasted three days, then I narrowed it down to two days, and now I'm hoping to give it at least two full days when I stop playing with the watch. Ordered on Saturday afternoon, arrived at Alza Box on Sunday morning. I was originally going to film the unboxing, but wish I hadn't. I put the belt on for about 20 minutes. I don't know who invented the clasp. I was surprised that even though they have a different system than GW1, some things still look the same and the control logic is similar. I know previous generations have had this, but I was puzzled by the swapping of the back and home screen buttons, on the GW1 it was top back (and didn't work for me) and bottom homescreen, here it's the other way around. The swivel lunette is great, although its knurled surface is not as nice to the touch as the GW1 (there I just twirled it around now and then, here I had it pushed into my finger after a while). When I turn to the right, the widgets are grouped into tiles, this looks nice at first glance, but when I want to scroll lower, I still have to touch the screen. I drained the watch from 80% to 20% on the first day. I'm hoping to charge once every two days when things get a little better. The very first workout I found that I couldn't get from the weight management phase to the aerobic phase, so I wasn't burning anything. I'm hoping the watch will help me now. At the very least, they have sparked a great interest in me to try more and more sports to see how they measure up. Notifications are reliable. I learned how to use google assistant. So you obviously only have to speak English to it, but it works very well. For example, while I was exercising, I could check the score of a football game being played at the time through my watch. I also like the fact that I tell it "Hey Google, find my phone" and it rings it loudly - I had a button for that on my old watch. On the other hand, I haven't managed to put that somewhere in the apps yet. The range of applications is very wide. I was curious to see what it would look like after the move from Galaxy Watch 1. But I actually found that I'll just use the ones that were in the old system too anyway. Except for google wallet. I installed that and added the card. But so far I have not been able to place the link somewhere between the tiles.

The watch has been a pleasant surprise so far. They have a beautiful, easy to read display even in the sun. The design is a bit angular, but it looks interesting in the end - although personally I would probably prefer a round shape. The control via the rotary lunette is great, smooth and intuitive. Battery life is rather average, which is common in this category. I appreciate the better media controls than my previous model, including Spotify, and I can see photos from WhatsApp on the watch. Overall, the watch delivers what it promises and is really very light, I hardly feel it on my hand. Satisfaction so far.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic impresses with its elegant design and especially with the return of the rotating lunette, which is superbly crafted and significantly improves the control of the watch. The integration of artificial intelligence is also a pleasant surprise - it helps you analyse your health, sleep and workouts, and everything works quickly and thoughtfully. The watch has a high-end display, long battery life and a well-connected ecosystem with Samsung phones. The only detriment is that the entire body is not a solid black - the glossy elements look distracting, especially in contrast to the matte rest. Still, it's one of the best smartwatches of our time.
