I buy a new flagship from Samsung every year, even though there are few innovations, and that's no different with the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. But they are reliable and software-wise they are the top of the market. It looks premium at first glance - the combination of glass and aluminium is elegant and the phone fits perfectly in the hand, even though it's bigger. The display is traditionally top-notch, Samsung has once again pushed the image quality a bit further. Colours are beautifully saturated, brightness is extremely high and the refresh rate ensures perfectly smooth scrolling and gaming responses. The biggest novelty is the privacy display function, which darkens the screen when viewed from an angle and preserves privacy, for example in the subway. The camera is unfortunately almost the same is the predecessor, but for the average user it is perfectly sufficient. Images from the main sensor are detailed, sharp and have excellent dynamic range. I was pleasantly surprised by the night mode - photos are clear and full of detail even in lower light conditions. The Zoom is still one of the best on the market and I use it very often. The performance is absolutely uncompromised. Apps open instantly, multitasking is seamless, and the phone doesn't get out of breath even with more demanding games. The battery lasts a full day of intensive use without any problems and the fast charging is very practical. The S Pen is still there, it can be used for notes and quick sketches. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is a high-end phone for demanding users who want the best without compromise.
